What do we do?

Camping Appy provides campsites and holiday parks throughout the United Kingdom and Europe with an affordable mobile phone app that puts relevant and customisable campsite information in the palm of the customers hand. Such as opening hours of onsite facilities, campsite maps, contact details, entertainment schedules, menus, rules, local attractions and in europe courier contact details.

Camping Appy is an app managed by us, requiring no technical knowledge or maintenance by you, with the cost of adding your campsite or holiday park to Camping Appy considerably less than having a custom App developed privately and maintained for your campsite.

As well as providing customers with an improved on site experience whilst staying with you Camping Appy allows customers to be directed to a digital version of campsite information reducing the need, cost and wastage on traditional campsite printed brochures/maps.

On registering Camping Appy designs for you a customised information based section within the App designed around the branding of your company. You will also be provided with promotional Camping Appy posters to display at your premise to promote the App to your customers. You will have a choice, depending on location of posters in English or translated to other European languages.


How does it work?

Camping Appy is a simple to use app that allows the customer to find you campsite or holiday park from within its searchable menu. Once they select your campsite or holiday park they are taken to your customised home page where they can select from the menu to see onsite facilities, opening hours, schedules and menus, your campsite or holiday park map, contact details of the campsite or holiday park, nearby attractions and local facilities.

You can add as many onsite facilities as you need. Such as Reception, Restaurants, Takeaways, Swimming Pools, Entertainment Venues, Shops, Activities, Wifi, Electric / Gas, or even opening hours for vehicle access. The onsite facilities really are completely customisable to you and your business. The camper can then see the opening hours for these facilities as well as any promotional text or notes you wish to add. We can also add the option to view menus, entertainment schedules or any other document relating to the facility. Perhaps even a price list for the activities?

The campsite map can be viewed and zoomed from within the app saving you printing costs on map handouts. If you need an updated digital map then speak to us as that is something that we can also help with.

The campers can have the option to call parts of the site from within such as reception, cafe/restaurant, security or any other place you wish. This feature can also be deactivated if you desire.

Local Attractions nearby are shown within a section of the App*. On viewing the nearby Attraction customers can view the attractions location and where applicable call the attraction, visit their website or book online.

If you are a European campsite and you have courier companies on your site then there is a section to enable guests to contact their couriers from within the app itself.

Finally you can add a customised list of nearby facilities to your site. Perhaps the most frequently asked places by your customers such as pharmacies, petrol stations, supermarkets etc. Again this is completely customisable to you and your company.
